About me
Several months after graduating from
Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA), I was offered an
opportunity to work in the local event industry, which attracts a multitude
of high-profile corporations from all over the world. In terms of
hospitality, New Orleans (“The Big Easy” and home to Mardi Gras) offers what
other cities simply can’t. Therefore, companies and conventions return time
and time to host their events, from intimate dinners for executives to
enormous “thank-you” parties for employees and clients. Generally, no
expense is spared to produce a one-of-a-kind event.
I have collaborated on or coordinated events for clients/projects such as:
• Major U.S. pharmaceutical companies (Pharmacia, Beiersdorf, Novartis,
Ortho-McNeil, and Boehringer-Ingelheim)
• Major U.S. TV networks (VH-1 and HBO)
• Major U.S. software companies (Oracle and Peoplesoft)
• Major U.S. universities (Tulane and Emory)
• Musical team building events with Cyril Neville (of the famous Neville
Brothers), Rockin’ Dopsie, and Chef Emeril Lagasse (yes, Emeril plays the
drums!)
• International clients from Brazil and Japan
• Super Bowl XXXVI 2002 events (Playboy After Party, Maxim Magazine’s
“Curiouser and Curiouser”, EA Sports John Madden Bowl, and two events hosted
by artists P Diddy and Nelly)
• Local and state government (City Hall of New Orleans, U.S. Senator Mary
Landrieu, and Congressman William Jefferson)
