This is unfortunately not available with my current service. However, I hope that I will be able to offer it in the future, as I have previously worked with caterers on events in the States. In the meantime, I can provide contact information for local caterers upon request.
Cash is preferred, but I do accept wire transfers for events and large orders.
I prefer to have at least two months notice before events. This will allow me to research products and create a suggestions file (similar to a mini-catalog) that is tailored for each event. A lot of time and effort goes into the research process, since there are literally millions of party and event products on the market, and trends are constantly changing. Once a client selects their products, adequate time is also required to submit orders and ship items. Products that are customized and personalized, which are truly unique to your event, require additional processing time as well.
For balloons that I have in stock, I request at least one day's notice.
I require advance notice for latex balloons that will be treated with Ultra Hi-Float, a substance that allows them to float up to 25 times longer than non-treated latex balloons. My test balloons for the product stayed afloat about 6 weeks, as compared to the normal 12-24 hours. The manufacturer of Hi-Float recommends a drying time of at least two hours, hence the advance notice requirement. If the balloon bursts before it has properly dried, you could be slimed. Hi-Float treatment is available for an additional fee. Please note that I don't treat bulk orders of latex balloons, which are typically discarded after an event anyway.
Requests for bulk balloons that are not in stock can be accommodated by special order but only with plenty of notice.
Bulk orders of latex balloons are also subject to an additional labor fee if I need to bring in an assistant for the project.
Yes. I offer complimentary delivery service within the Aramco Dhahran camp (GC 11+ area and Rabiya) for balloon orders and products ordered through my personal party shopping service, but I do appreciate if customers can arrange to pick up items. I am willing to make delivery exceptions for those that don’t have immediate access to transportation. Since I work during the day, balloon delivery to the core area and SAMSO is available only under special circumstances. For bulk balloon orders, one complimentary trip is included in my service. Additional trips will require a small fee.
Delivery outside of the Aramco Dhahran camp will incur charges based on traveling distance and the number of trips required to transport products.Based on my experiences with the event industry, clients want products and services that will make their events stand out. They don’t want elements that their guests have seen or experienced at other functions. Therefore, the event trade is constantly evolving to meet this demand. With my personal party shopping service, my goal is to offer suggestions of products that are truly unique and are not available locally in general party stores.
Helium is a gas, so it contracts in colder temperatures. Therefore, balloons may appear less full. It also expands in warmer temperatures making balloons appear fuller. Due to this expansion, balloons may "pop" in warmer temperatures. When transporting balloons in warm weather, it's recommended to keep your vehicle A/C on. Also, it's recommended not to display balloons outside in hot weather for too long. Balloon appearance can be adjusted by changing the environmental temperature (i.e. moving the balloons to a different location).
